Abstract The Government Ordinance, which is composed of 18 articles and five Annexes, sets out animal health conditions applicable to the production and placing on the market of rabbit meat and farmed game meat, as well as to related trade with European Community Member States. Requirements for the production and placing on the market of rabbit meat are specified in articles 3 and 4. Requirements for the production and placing on the market of farmed game meat are specified in articles from 5 to 10. Common requirements for rabbit meat and farmed game meat are specified in articles from 11 to 17.
