Abstract This Ordinance lays down the minimum standards to be fulfilled for the protection of pigs intended for breeding and fattening. Further minimum protection standards may be set up by the Ministry of Agriculture on the basis of veterinary studies. Equipment for breeding pigs must fulfill the requirements specified in Annexes 2 and 3.
