Abstract

This Decree provides rules relative to: a) transport of dangerous goods by air in the Finnish territory; b) transport of dangerous goods by air by a Finnish aircraft outside the Finnish territory; and c) temporary storage of dangerous goods at an aerodrome located in Finland. The provisions of this Decree on dangerous goods shall also apply to genetically modified organisms and micro-organisms and radioactive material. The Decree, among other things: classifies dangerous goods; applies certain international standards to transportation of such goods; and appoints competent authorities.
