This Decree enters into force on 14 December 2023.

Abstract

The present Decree implements the Nature Conservation Act (No. 9 of 2023) and lays down rules on the following matters: development of the strategy and action plan for biodiversity; the nature conservation programe; notification of an action affecting an area included in the Natura 2000 network; protected habitat types; strictly protected habitat types; protection of species; endangered species; species requiring special protection; species requiring strict protection within the European Union; acquisition of nature conservation areas; and periodization of compensations.
