Abstract This Government Decree regulates the assessment and management of environmental noise. The scope of the Regulation is extended to: a) Budapest and its neighbouring areas - Dunakeszi - Fót - Csömör - Kistarcsa - Kerepes - Pécel - Vecsés - Gyál - Dunaharaszti - Szigetszentmiklós - Diósd - Érd - Halásztelek - Törökbálint - Budaörs - Budakeszi - Solymár - Üröm - Budakalász - Pomáz - Szentendre; b) major and other transport facilities or plant facilities within the administrative area of cities with more than 100 000 inhabitants; c) the main transport facility; and for the assessment and management of noise generated in areas with increased protection from noise protection, and for the provision of data thereon. The scope of the regulation does not cover the assessment and management of noise generated during military activities in the field of the Hungarian Defense Forces, as well as the provision of data related thereto.
