Abstract

The present Ordinance enacts the Genetic Technology Act of 20 June 1990 (BGBl. I p. 2066). In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to hearing procedures in view of authorizing genetic engineering work in special facilities. The text consists of 12 articles as follows: Sphere of application (1); Public announcement of the project (2); Content of announcement (3); Interpretation of application and documents (4); Raising objections (5); Discussion hearing (6); Special objections (7); Elimination of discussion hearing (8); Postponement of discussion hearing (9); Development of hearing (10); Written proceedings (11); Entry into force (12).
