The Minister for Agriculture may issue an order to an owner or occupier of a farm or land requiring him or her to reduce the number of game. If the owner or occupier neglects the order, the Minister may take action to reduce the number of game. Notwithstanding anything contained in the Game Act of 1953, or in any Notice in force thereunder, there shall be no close season for game in respect of which the Minister has issued an order.
