Abstract

The present Ordinance introduces the Council Directive 2001/112/EC relating to fruit juices and certain similar products intended for human consumption into German national legislation. The said Ordinance lays down particular standards applicable to fruit juices, similar products and fruit nectars intended for human consumption. Article 2 specifies the vitamins, minerals and other substances which may be added, whereas article 3 contains labelling provisions. Article 5 establishes administrative sanctions. The Ordinance consists of 8 articles and 6 Annexes.
