Abstract This Act amends Forests Act 1949 by amending Section 71B (Restrictions on exercise of power of entry). In section 71B(1)(e), it replaces “may issue a warrant directed to the authorised person by name directing him to enter for the stated purpose” with “may issue a warrant to every authorised person to enter for the stated purpose”.
