Abstract

This Notice, made by the Minister under section 4 of the Forest Resources and Timber Utilisation Act, exempts land listed in the Ndoro Islands from the provisions of that section. Section 4 requires a licence to be obtained for commercial felling. That land shall be cleared for the purposes of agricultural development and reforestation. Clearing shall take place only on specified conditions and approval of the Commissioner.
