Abstract

This Notice, made by the Minister under section 4 of the Forest Resources and Timber Utilisation Act, exempts land listed in the Fauro Islands from the provisions of that section. Section 4 requires a licence to be obtained for commercial felling. The land shall be cleared for the purposes of for mining and airport purposes and airport development. Clearing shall take place only on specified conditions and upon approval of the Commissioner.
