Abstract

Section 1 defines forest offences. These are specified activities in a Forest Reserve carried out without the written consent of the competent authorities. Those activities include, felling of trees, cultivation, building of farms, obstructing of streams, fishing, grazing of cattle or hunting. Specific offences are prescribed with regard to counterfeiting or fraudulently using of timber marks.
