Abstract

In these Regulations every tree listed in the Schedule to these Regulations is considered forest produce for purposes of the Forest Act and these Regulations. Every person who wishes to export any forest produce shall apply for the approval of the Director of Agriculture, Forests and Fisheries or duly authorised officer. The Director or his authorised officer may, subject to directions from the Minister of Agriculture, Forests and Fisheries, grant approval to an application and upon such conditions as he may deem necessary, and may from time to time make forms upon which applications and approvals may be made. A fee shall be due. Exportation of produce without prior approval of the Director or a duly authorised officer shall be an offence.
