Abstract

The Chief Forest Officer is authorised by this Order to approve or disapprove applications for forest licences and to issue such licences or forest permits in respect of such applications subject to the conditions set out in the Schedule to this Order. The Chief Forest Officer may authorise in writing any Divisional Forest Officer or other officer of a standing not under the status of Forest Officer to approve or disapprove applications for forest licences or forest permits subject to the conditions in the said Schedule.
