Abstract This Law regulates the planning and forest cultivation in terms of necessary protection (also forest fire provisions, articles 40, 50 and 80), management, sustainable and safe use, preservation of forests as natural resource (including forest land), also determining the effective exercise of public functions, right and obligations of forest utilization, financing and other issues of importance for Macedonia based forest resources, also defined as good of great public interest and common natural wealth (with its biological, economic, social and environmental importance, regardless of ownership).
