Abstract

These Regulations amend the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade Regulations 2012 inserts a provision requiring a person applying for verification of a Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) licence to pay a fee to the Secretary of State. Only timber products that have been legally produced in accordance with the national legislation of the producing country may enter the European Community with a FLEGT licence.
