Abstract

The present Ordinance lays down provisions for the protection from foot- and-mouth disease. The text consists of 36 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: Definition of terms (1); Protective measures (2); Protective measures for slaughterhouses, for transport, and boarder control (3); Annulment of protective measures (4); Competent authority, Animal Disease Centre (5); Working with foot-and-mouth disease virus (6); Violations, Final provisions (7).
