Abstract The present Ordinance implements the Foodstuff, Articles of Daily Use and Feedstuff Codex in its version of 26 April 2006 (BGBl. I p. 945). Part 1 outlines the political organs competent for the execution of the above-mentioned Act. For example, article 3 establishes that the State Ministry of the Environment, Health and Consumer Protection is responsible for the information of the public. Part 2 lays down provisons dealing with the vocational training of personnel, such as veterinaries and technical assistants. Part 3 concerns final provisions.
