Abstract

This Order provides rules relative to the labelling of food produced in Jersey and imported food, except from, subject to certain conditions, an European Economic Area member state or the European Community. The Order prescribes general labelling requirements and specific requirements for the labelling of, among other things, irradiated food, food containing artificial sweeteners, meat products and pre-packed food. Certain food is exempted from one or more general requirements formulated by this Order.
