The principal Order implements Commission Decision 97/613/EC. The principal Order is amended by the insertion at the end of article 2(1), prohibiting imports of pistachios, of the words "except in accordance with the conditions in Article 2 of Commission Decision 97/830/EC of 11th December 1997 repealing Commission Decision 97/613 and imposing special conditions on the import of pistachios originating in, or consigned from, Iran".
