Amendments concern remedial action notices and detention notices and compensation to a food business operator in case a court in appeal cancels a remedial action notice, if the operator suffers loss by complying with such notice. The Regulations also: add a new Schedule 6A, which specifies the requirements for the special health mark referred to in paragraph 9 of Chapter VI of Section I of Annex III to Regulation 853/2004 and paragraph 7 of Chapter III of Section I of Annex I to Regulation (EC) No. 854/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council; and provide for the use of that mark and that failure to comply is an offence.
