No person shall manufacture, import, export, distribute, sell, or advertise in Nigeria any salt for human consumption unless it has been registered in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations. The Regulations also concern packaging and presentation of food grade salt. The method of production, packaging, storage and transportation of salt shall be in compliance with the requirements of the current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) Regulations 2019.
