Entry into force notes
The Law shall enter into force six months after the date of its publication in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of article 11 (amending article 29 of the principal law) which shall enter into force on the day of publication of the Law in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This law may be cited as the Food (Control and Sale) (Amendment) Law of 2001 and shall be read as one with the Food (Control and Sale) Laws of 1996 and 2000 (No.2) (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Law”). The principal Law and the present Law shall be read in conjunction and will be referred to as the Food (Control and Sale) Laws 1996-2001.
