Abstract

This Order, made under the Food and Drugs (Guernsey) Law, 1970, specifies emulsifiers and stabilisors permitted to be used in food and prescribes purity criteria for such emulsifiers and stabilisors. It allows only sale or importation of food having in it permitted emulsifiers and stabilisors within limits by this Order. The Order also lays down certain labelling and advertisement requirements and prescribes methods of analysis. The Order does not apply to food intended for (re)exportation.
