Abstract

These Regulations amend the Food Regulations 1999 in regulations concerning procedures and conditions for, an application for a (pre-market approval) permit, an authorisation or a clearance for any food imported or exported under the Food Act, the clearance of food by Customs. They also insert a new regulation which allows the Minister to issue guidelines setting out the requirements for, the applicable law relating to, and the procedures and conditions for, an application for a permit, an authorisation or a clearance for any food imported or exported under the Act.
