Abstract

This Act makes provision for a wide variety of matters regarding the manufacturing, importation, placing on the market and offering for sale of food and prescribes offences in relation with food. It also provides for the appointment of the Food Board, defines the functions of the Minister responsible for food for purposes of this Act and safeguards the functions of the Minister of Health in relation to food.
