The Regulations also remove the requirement that a sample of field peas must be found to be free from Pseudomonas syringae p.v.pisi (pea bacterial blight) before they can be certified as Breeders' Seed, Pre-Basic Seed, Basic Seed or Certified Seed of the First Generation.
