These habitats include: coastal and halophytic habitats; coastal sand dunes and inland dunes; freshwater habitats; natural and semi-natural grassland formations; rocky habitats and caves; forests. Furthermore the text of Schedule II (specifying animal and plant species of Community interest whose conservation requires the designation of special areas of conservation) is replaced.
