Abstract

This Order, made under section 5 of the Fisheries (Conservation and Management) Ordinance, 2015, prohibits fishing within the fishery limits in any area beyond the territorial sea is prohibited unless authorised and carried out in accordance with a fishing licence granted by the Director of Fisheries under section 5 of the Ordinance. The form and duration of a fishing licence to which this Order applies is to be determined by the Director of Fisheries in each case. A charge may be made for each fishing licence, having regard to the factors set out in section 5(6)(b), of the Ordnance, the amount of which is prescribed in the Schedule.
