This Regulation prescribes rules for fising in an area as defined by the Torres Strait Treaty. The text consists of 11 sections: Interpretation (1); Licence to engage in fishing (2); A fishing boat licence (3); Factory ship licence (4); Fees (5); Requirements for marking of licensed fishing boats (6); Issue of logbook (7); Particulars to be entered into logbook (8); Particulars to be sent to Departmental Head (9); Offences (10); Secrecy (11).
