Abstract

The Rules regulate fishing in riverine waters as defined by section 2 of the Fisheries Act 1985. No fishing is allowed without a licence issued by the Inland Fisheries Officer. This official may also determine the number of licences, prescribe the minimum size of fish or declare closed seasons for certain species or for designated areas.
