Abstract

These Regulations provide rules for the application to the Fisheries Administrator for a Stone Crab Fishing License to fish for stone crab, for an Export License, and for authorization to fish for stone crab using a trap. The applicant of a Stone Crab Fishing Licence shall submit the evidence of possession of a valid fisherman’s licence and a fishing vessel licence, if applicable. Furthermore, these Regulations lay down rules for closed season to fish, sell, display, offer for sale, buy or have in his possession any stone crab; restrictions on stone crab fishing; and penalties for the contravention to these Regulations.
