Abstract

These comprehensive Fisheries Regulations make provision with respect to, among other things, registration and licensing of fishing vessels, fishers and fish dealers, aquaculture development and management, management and control of fishing, fish and fishery products standards. The Regulations also introduce port state measures and provide for protection of waters from pollution by fisheries and aquaculture operations, the protection of critical habitats and activities of the Fisheries Development Fund.
