This Proclamation shall come into force on 25 May, 1998.
Abstract

This basic text on fisheries in Eritrea makes provision with respect to fisheries management and conservation and aquaculture. The Ministry of Fisheries shall be responsible for the management and development of fisheries resources in Eritrea. There shall be a Fisheries Advisory Council which shall provide advice on the management and development of fisheries (sect. 6).
