Abstract The present Ordinance enforces the Fisheries Law of 12 March 2008. Fishing fish, crayfish, bait and other aquatic animals in the public waters and canals of the Canton of Solothurn is a sovereign right, and as such can be authorized only by the Canton. Sub-concessions are not allowed. Fishing permits are issued by the competent Department and by fishing associations.
