Abstract This Regulation, consisting of 23 sections divided into eight Parts and completed by two Schedules, implements the Fisheries Management Act 1994 by providing the management plan for the estuary prawn trawl fishery in New South Wales. The Plan aims at contributing, in conjunction with other fishing regulatory controls, to manage the impacts of the fishery on the environment, to ensure ecologically sustainable development, to provide for the survival of protected fish, and to promote viable commercial fishing.
