Abstract

These Regulations specify fees payable in respect of: (a) special fishing licences for any activity set out in the First Schedule; (b) fees for fishing licences issued for fishing in a commercial fishing area set out in the Second Schedule to these Regulations; (c) fees in respect of any aquaculture activity as set out in the Third Schedule; (b) fees for importing or exporting fish (Fourth Schedule); and fees for the conveyance of fish (Fifth Schedule). The amount of commercial licence fees for persons resident in Zambia depends upon the area to which the licence applies. Fees are also prescribed for fishing by persons not resident in Zambia, fishing by cooperatives and companies and for recreational fishing.
