Abstract These Regulations make a number of amendments to the Fisheries (Commercial Fishing) Regulations, 2001 including the following: a maximum weight of 4 kg is set for freshwater eels taken anywhere in New Zealand; the sale of live catfish shall be no longer lawful; fishing permit application fees shall be set for terms of up to five years.
