Abstract

These Regulations amend the Fisheries Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003 so as to: designate four waters as rainbow trout waters for the purposes of regulation 73(2)(b) of the Fisheries Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003 (which provides that there shall be no close season for angling for rainbow trout in waters so designated); and provide that appeals against the revocation or refusal to issue or renew a fishing licence are now to a magistrates’ court instead of the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure.
