Byelaw 4 corrects Byelaw 72 of the principal Byelaws (annual close season for angling for salmon, trout and rainbow trout) by restricting its application only to those waters to which Section 25 of the Fisheries Act (Northern Ireland) 1966 applies. These Byelaws increase the licence duties for fishing with rod and line and other specified fishing.
