Byelaw 72 was previously revoked by the Fisheries (Amendment No. 3) Byelaws (Northern Ireland) 2000 (S.R. 2000 No. 364). Byelaws 3 and 5 introduce new fishing rod licences, and the duties that apply to them, for disabled anglers. Byelaw 6 substitutes a new Schedule for Schedule 4 to the principal Byelaws (list of rainbow trout waters where there is no annual close season for angling for rainbow trout). Certain areas are added to or reinserted in the list of rainbow trout waters in the Schedule.
