Abstract These Regulations shall apply to persons taking fish of aquatic life other than licensed fishermen. Regulations 5 to 6 fix net mesh sizes and species length for a number of fish species. Regulations 7 to 13 provide restrictions on types of nets that may be used for amateur fishing. Controls on line fishing and requirements for whitebait and quinnat salmon fishing are provided for in regulations 15 to 17. Regulations 18 to 20 set out maximum daily quotas and minimum sizes for shellfish.
