Abstract

These Regulations amend the Fish Labelling (England) Regulations 2003: (a) by providing that commercial designations accepted in other Member States are names prescribed by law; and (b) by replacing the Schedule to the principal Regulations (which provides a list of commercial designations for the species of sea fish, salmon and freshwater fish and shellfish listed therein) with the Schedule to these Regulations.
