Abstract

These Regulations, consisting of eight sections and two Schedules, establish every application for a licence under section 6 of the related Act, to import, manufacture or formulate fertilizer as specified in Forms ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ set out respectively in the Schedule I. The fee payable under Section 6, for applying for a licence under regulation 2 shall be 25,000 Rupees. The Regulations lay down the requirements to be satisfied in order to obtain a licence for manufactures organic fertilizer for marketing purposes (for the first year free of charge). The fee payable under section 8 of the Act, in respect of an application for the renewal of a licence shall be 20,000 Rupees. The renewal of a licence for manufactures organic fertilizer for marketing purposes shall be 5,000 Rupees. Every licence issued by the Director under section 7 of the Act, for the importation, manufacture and formulation of fertilizer shall be substantially in Forms ‘D’, ‘E’ and ‘F’ set out respectively in the Schedule II.
