The Regulations implement Community legislation. Amendments of the 2005 Regulations concern harmful substances and the introduction of new requirements regarding analysing and reporting on the analysis of animal feed to determine the levels of undesirable substances. The 1999 Regulations are amended so as to implement an amendment in Community legislation on rules for sampling and analysis.
