In particular, the Ordinance is applicable to the analysis of suspect land, harmful change of soil, requirements concerning decontamination and safety measures as well as other protection and restriction measures, requirements concerning preventive measures on soil protection, and the fixing of threshold values. The text consists of 14 Articles divided into 8 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Requirements concerning the analysis of suspect land and contaminated sites (II); Requirements concerning the rehabilitation of harmful change in the soil and contaminated sites (III); Completing provisions for contaminated sites (IV); Exceptions (V); Completing provisions for the prevention of harmful soil changes as a consequence of soil erosion caused by water (VI); Prevention of harmful change in the soil (VII); Final provisions (VIII). Four Annexes are enclosed as follow: Requirements for sampling, analysis and quality assurance during the investigation (1); Action, test and precautionary measures (2); Requirements for remediation investigation and plan (3); Requirements for the investigation and assessment of areas suspect to harmful soil change due to the soil erosion by water.
