The Federal Law enters into force from the date of its official publication.
Abstract

Federal Law No. 113-FZ of 1998 on hydrometeorology acquires the following amendments and addenda: 1. To supplement with article 13/1 with the following contents: "The modalities of purchase and use of service and hunting firearms. Territorial branches and organizations of especially authorized federal executive body in the field of hydrometeorology and adjacent spheres have the right to purchase and use service and hunting firearms as service firearms for the purpose of protection of life and health of the officials of the afore-said bodies, protection of property, valuable and dangerous goods and special correspondence." 2. Masters of scientific and research vessels and scientific and expeditionary vessels, their mates and the officials of the territorial branches and organizations of especially authorized federal executive body in the field of hydrometeorology and adjacent spheres in the process of carrying out their duties regarding protection of valuable and dangerous goods, special correspondence and goods covered by state secret are authorized to carry and use service firearms.
