Abstract

The Mercantile Marine Code is supplemented with Chapter VII.1 "Sea Line Transportation", which introduces the concept of "sea line", defines the procedure for its registration and removal from the register of vessels. A system of preferences has been established for vessels of the sea line (the priority of harbor services in the seaport, privileges for the payment of harbour dues, etc.) In addition, undecked non-self-propelled vessels, the length of which does not exceed 12 meters, are included in the list of vessels not subject to state registration.
