Entry into force notes
This Federal Law enters into force ninety days after the date of its official publication.
Abstract

This Federal Law envisages the possibility of organization of biosphere proving grounds on the territory of nature reserves. This Federal Law introduces the concept of accumulated damage to the environment - damages to the environment that arose as a result of past economic and other activities, the obligation to eliminate which was not met or were not fully implemented; objects of the accumulated damage to the environment - the territories and water areas on which the accumulated damage to the environment has been identified, capital construction objects and waste disposal sites that are the sources of accumulated damage to the environment.
