Abstract

The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the protection of game. In particular, the Ordinance applies to animal species listed in Annex 1 and 4. For the delimitation of animal species their scientific designation is decisive. The term animals for the purpose of this Order includes live and dead animals, their readily identifiable parts and products derived from them. The text consists of 8 articles as follows: Sphere of application, definition of terms (1); Prohibitions (2); Keeping griffins and falcons (3); Recording and labeling obligations (4); Lawful ownership, obligation to provide proof (5); Administrative offences (6); Berlin Clause (7); Entry into force (8). Six Annexes are enclosed.
